THE LITTLE DANCE

Run over the same track and distance, the Royal Randwick 1600m, the $750,000 race is made up of eligible horses who either didn’t gain a start in The Big Dance or finished second or third in their eligible race.

Winners of eligible races that didn’t make The Big Dance field are at the top of the ballot. Then, second placed horses from eligible races, in benchmark order, are next in line. If there are places remaining then horses who finished third in eligible races are called upon.
