The $3 million Big Dance at Royal Randwick is the culmination of qualifying races run throughout the past 12 months at racecourses across New South Wales. The 2024 event was won by the Ciaron Maher-trained Gringotts, ridden by Tommy Berry, who later went on to win the Group 1 George Ryder Stakes.

While the Big Dance is the feature event on the day, the $750,000 Little Dance provides a consolation for those who didn't qualify for the main event at one of the eligible races.
